How it Works

If an employee notices a decline in their hearing ability, they should promptly consult a healthcare professional. If the hearing loss is determined to be work-related, the employee can file a claim through their employer’s workers’ compensation insurance. The process may involve documenting navigating work cover with hearing aids can seem daunting, but remember, you’re not alone. With the right information and support, we can effectively manage the process for you.

If the claim is approved, the insurance may cover costs such as hearing aids, medical appointments, therapy, and potentially even a payout.

You are not suing your ex-employer, you are lodging a claim against the insurance company your ex-employer was paying while you were there.
