What Our Patients Say
Urgent Ear Care
If you are experiencing any of the below and cannot wait for the next day to book an appointment
- Severely blocked ears and decrease of hearing
- An insect went into your ear
- Your child has put an object in their ear
or are too busy and would rather us seeing you after 6 pm from Monday-Saturday or on a Sunday you can send us an email at [email protected].
Please keep in mind there will be an extra charge for the Audiologist to see you after those hours. Those appointments are only available in your home as the clinic will be closed.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get earwax removal today?
Often, yes. We keep time aside for urgent blocked ears and frequently have same-week, and sometimes same-day, appointments at our clinics in Merrylands, Campbelltown, Alexandria, Winston Hills and Auburn. Call us on (02) 7238 7033 to check today's availability.
What counts as urgent?
A fully blocked ear, muffled hearing before a flight, work or an event, or hearing aids that have stopped working because of wax. If you have ear pain, discharge, fever or sudden hearing loss, see a GP or go to an emergency department first.
Can you come to me urgently?
Home visits can sometimes be arranged at short notice, especially for elderly or less mobile people. Call us and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
